Shooting the Screen

Have you ever seen something so amazing on your computer screen that you wish you could just take a picture of it? Have you ever wanted to explain what you are seeing on the screen to the tech support person? Grabbing snapshots of the screen is super simple.

 

To take a picture of your screen, hold down the command key and while you are holding it down, type the 3 key. Click! Did you hear that camera sound? Your screen shot is now waiting for you out on the desktop. But that’s just the beginning. Screen shots can be powerful tools for explaining things, demonstrating ideas… tons of things.
